This website and the services described herein are operated by Geo Vision Surveying Inc. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Geo Vision Surveying Inc. By visiting our site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
SECTION 1 – SCOPE OF SERVICES & PROFESSIONAL STATUS
Geo Vision Surveying Inc. is a geospatial data and technical mapping firm based in Ontario.

Non-Licensure Disclosure: We are not a licensed Ontario Land Surveying (OLS) firm and do not hold a Certificate of Authorization from the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors (AOLS).

Technical Services: We provide technical measurement services, including Topographic Mapping, Construction Layout, LiDAR Scanning, Drone Data Collection, and Railway Alignment. These services are for engineering, design, and construction purposes only.

Legal/Cadastral Surveys: In compliance with the Ontario Surveyors Act, we do not perform legal boundary surveying (Cadastral Surveying). We do not provide opinions on property line locations or set permanent boundary monuments.
SECTION 2 – THIRD-PARTY OLS PARTNERSHIPS
For projects requiring legal boundary determination (such as Surveyor’s Real Property Reports or Reference Plans), Geo Vision Surveying Inc. collaborates with independent, licensed Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) partners.

All legal plans, boundary opinions, and sealed documents are prepared and certified exclusively by our OLS partners.

Geo Vision Surveying Inc. acts as a project coordinator for these specific services.
SECTION 3 – ACCURACY & USE OF DATA

Informational Purpose: Any plan, map, or digital file produced by us that is not sealed by a licensed OLS is for informational and design purposes only.

Reference Boundaries: Any property lines shown on our drawings are derived from third-party sources or approximate field measurements and are for reference only. They have not been legally verified.

No Legal Reliance: The Client acknowledges that our data should not be used to establish fences, structures, or buildings in relation to property boundaries without first obtaining a legal survey from an OLS.
SECTION 4 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no case shall Geo Vision Surveying Inc., our directors, officers, employees, or contractors be liable for any injury, loss, or claim arising from:

The Client’s use of our data for legal boundary purposes.

Construction performed within property setbacks based on reference lines provided for design purposes. Our liability for technical errors in mapping or layout is limited strictly to the total fee paid for the specific service rendered.
SECTION 5 – CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The Client is responsible for ensuring we have legal access to the project site. The Client must provide all necessary background information (deeds, existing plans) and must notify us if the project specifically requires legal boundary verification.
SECTION 6 – MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICES AND PRICES
Prices for our services are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a service (or any part thereof) without notice.
SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All maps, 3D models, LiDAR data, and reports produced by us remain the intellectual property of Geo Vision Surveying Inc. and are licensed to the Client for the specific project intended. Unauthorized distribution or use of this data for legal boundary purposes is strictly prohibited.
SECTION 8 – PROHIBITED USES
In addition to other prohibitions, you are prohibited from using our site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any provincial or federal regulations (including the Ontario Surveyors Act).
SECTION 9 – SEVERABILITY
In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
SECTION 10 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
